Dive timer dial Originally designed by physicist, mathematician and extreme diver, Dr Hannes Keller, the decompression scale helps you calculate stops before a deepsea dive.
A logo with heritage Placed above the transparent caseback is a large steel ‘coin’ deep-stamped with the original super compressor logo of Ervin Piquerez SA (EPSA).
Sapphire crystal The Super Compressor Elite is covered by a ‘glass box’ crystal (check the ‘bubble’ edge) that maximises the authentic 1960s feel
Ultra-accuracy as standard Timekeeping comes courtesy of a chronometer version of the Sellita SW300-1 automatic calibre. This puts it in the top six percent of Swiss-made mechanical movements for accuracy

What is a super compressor? A genuine super compressor watch – like the C65 Super Compressor Elite – has a mechanism that increases water resistance as you descend. Its ultra-thin compression spring – just 300 microns wide – is placed around the perimeter of the case. When you dive down, it uses water pressure to press the caseback against the O-ring gasket.
