Globolight XP©: an ultra-bright idea

When lights are low, Globolight XP© comes alive. A luminous ceramic invented by Xenoprint, the producers of Super-LumiNova®, the C60 Trident Lumière’s indexes, hands and applied logo are almost entirely sculpted from this revolutionary material.

When it comes to the ideal mixture of strength and slimness, nothing comes close to Lumière. The 41mm Light-catcher™ case has both brushed and polished surfaces, and with a weight of just 53g – and a height of only 10.85mm – you may forget you’re wearing it.

The ultimate dial

The textured ‘stippled grain’ dial provides the perfect contrasting canvas for the illuminating drama of the Globolight XP© indexes, hands and logo. Together, it adds up to a 3D dial that’s rich in depth, as well as luminosity. And, unsurprisingly, the most expensive dial we’ve ever made.

Why titanium?

For lightness and durability, nothing comes close to Grade 2 titanium. With the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal, plus its natural anti-corrosive properties, it’s perfect for a watch as advanced as the C60 Trident Lumière.

Helium protection

If you’re on a deep dive, pressure can build up between the trapped gases inside the watch and the outside environment. This is why the Lumière – waterproof to 300m – has a helium release valve for that added layer of security.

GUARDING THE CROWN

To protect the watch’s crown, the 41mm case now boasts an improved and more ‘strident’ crown guard. Not only does this deliver further protection, but its brushed and polished surfaces play with the light, and add further visual interest to the case.

Accuracy, reliability, longevity

As a certified chronometer, this COSC version Sellita’s SW300-1 movement is in the top six percent of all Swiss calibres for accuracy. And should you take Lumiere off, it’ll also provide a power reserve of 56 hours. You can view it through the watch’s clear case back.
